Sprint tells the semi-autobiographical coming of age story of Nana, a queer Black child of Ghanaian immigrants, discovering her self and her dignity. Based off an original screenplay and collection of written works, Sprint is composed of four short films that deal with themes of internalized racism and self-denial, sexual violence and self-destruction, healing and resistance.
